Accessible Iceland is a family owend and operated travel company in Iceland with focus on accessible travel solutions. We offer Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles as self drive rental cars as well as driver-guided transport and tours.
Accessible Iceland is a subsidiary of Prime Tours, an Icelandic Tour operator and transportation provider. Prime Tours has offered accessible transportation services since it was founded in the year 2015. In the years 2015-2020 we were partnered with the Icelandic Association of Local Authorities for Accessible transport for local communities.
We manage a team of experts in the field of accessibility. Drivers and guides undergo training in understanding mobility challenges and how to provide proper assistance and service. Our team strives to provide a seamless and limitless experience for our guests.

Your safety matters
All of our accessible vehicles are equipped with floor belt system in order to safely strap in the wheelchair, making them safe to sit in while in transit. Some of our vehicles are equipped with additional back support as well. All of our vehicles are equipped with foldable rear ramps.
We are at your service
Our team of driver guides is trained to provide you with the service you require. Our drivers and guides will assist you with entering and exiting the vehicle as well as securing the wheelchair before transit. They will of course assist with your wheelchair at the attractions.
Self drive rentals
Our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles rental cars are available for your self drive experience. Our team will assist you with any concerns you may have before your departure and provide you training in using the ramp and securing the wheelchair to the floor belt system.
